Exceptional Roofing Contractor in Weatherford, TX, and the Surrounding Areas

Context:
1. I grew up working summers roofing houses/buildings – so I know a thing or two.
2. We are retired, drawing off social security, pensions, savings to pay the bills.
To prepare for retirement, we made the decision to re-roof as the roof was 20 years old and near the end of its life. We committed $45K from retirement savings to the project which included our shop.
Of the three roofing firms we brought to bid on the work, Mike Cummings, M&M Roofing, was the ONLY one who identified hail damage and recommended we first file a claim. When the insurance adjuster arrived, Mike was there to ensure that the adjuster saw the damage. My insurance company fully funded the $45K and, thus, we did not have to draw from our savings.
Mike also spent hours with me as we discussed materials and process. The process had not changed; however, the materials had improved. He committed to the newest materials. He also stated that we did not have enough attic ventilation (ridge vents) to support getting a full warranty from the shingle manufacturer.
Mike’s crew were the most professional, meticulous, quality conscious, and skilled roofers I have ever known. My father, a contractor, was a perfectionist who demanded quality – so I have an eye for excellence and proper work. My father would have approved of Mike’s crew.
Roof replacement is a dirty and trashy task. Everyone fears the nails left behind. I am sure my mower may one day find a nail; HOWEVER, it would not be because of effort. The crew tarped beneath every roof line as they removed the old roof and followed up running a magnet and “walking the line” (I am a Vet – vets will know exactly what I am saying) attempting to remove every nail. They followed up the new roof by blowing off the loose gravel on the roof and sweeping up anything left behind on the hard surfaces.
Mike and Mike Roofing will OUT CARE their competition.
FRANKLY, YOU WOULD BE STUPID NOT TO ENGAGE THEM FOR YOU NEXT ROOF PROJECT.

I called after the last storm slammed a trampoline into my roof and their guys were here that next morning, checking for damage. I could not be happier with how nice and supportive this company is, and I appreciate them. When they replaced my roof in 2022, they took care of everything. Many thanks!

Mike and Mike Roofing was the company that I chose to install my new roof. Their work is impeccable. The owner was awesome to work with. He was great at communicating, if he was busy, he would text me when he’d call me back. He would always follow thru. They installed a great quality roof. I would highly recommend them!

The whole experience was great. Due to having a new build, a lot of projects had to be prioritized and I am grateful they were able to install the gutters in less than a day. I highly recommend this company to anyone who asks.

Mike was thorough in his explanation of what the issue was and how he was going to fix it. After the repair, which was an arrow lodged in the roof and flashing, he explained what he did to fix the roof. He was great!

Mike and Mike Roofing came by and gave me a quote for a leak in my roof. Instead of trying to up sell getting a new roof, he was honest and explained what needed to be fixed, and that he would be happy to fix it the very next day! Some roofers try to overcharge and replace a large section for a small leak, but he was punctual, honest and gave me a recommendation that wasn’t trying to make me replace my entire roof. He also explained how I needed to look over my home insurance policy to make sure I understand the any parts that may exclude coverage for replacing a roof due to age of home.

Can’t say enough good things about Mike and Mike Roofing. They are prompt, professional and fairly priced. I’ve had them do three jobs for me and they are always on time. Mike and his son are both personable, friendly folks. They explained the job, the problem that caused the repair and the fix they did. If you need a good roofer, you can’t go wrong with Mike and Mike Roofing.

I hired this company to fix leaks in my metal building. After the initial repair, it continued to have leaks. Mike followed up as necessary to get the leaks fixed and this wasn’t an easy job. Mike and his crew were very professional in resolving the issues.

They did amazing job on our roof – here in Granbury. We will differently use them again and highly recommend them. Much better/affordable than any other roofers here in Granbury.

Mike & Mike Roofing Did an excellent job on my roof. They were not the cheapest but the took care of the installation, cleaning up after they were through. They told me about all of the options that I could have. I will more than likely use them again in the future.
